Audio Samples
Here area few examples of audio I've transferred
recently.
In
most cases I
will try and give a short biog of each sample, i.e. who the original
recording was by and what media I transferred it from. If you have any
comments on any of them or want more information please send me an
e-mail or leave a comment on my facebook page, thanks, Jonathan.

OK so this is another recording and is here to help demo the mobile
recording side of things, it's my daughter last year when she was 8
years old doing Butterfly Hearts
which is on a Coal Porters album. I created a 'Karaoke' version and
then she sang along and it's then mixed down - she did it in one take
and I think the result is pretty good.

The
Coasters - from reel
to reel recorded between 1962 and early 70's biog to follow from the
family of one of the members - Jazz
Standard
Jack
Warshaw, demon banjo player - John
Henry
This
track was part of an
albums worth on two 10.5" studio reels at 15ips, Jack performed on the
18th May at a charity gig if I get some more info I'll update this page.
Bandy Legs - Someone
told me. This was from two
reels at 3&3/4
ips recorded in the early 70's I think and you can tell from the
general
recording style - loads of space and no compression.
Biog:Bandy legs were formed back in 1971 by three brothers from
Portsmouth. Intruments played on recordings: Graham White:Guitar
vocals. useing Fender Telecaster 63 + fuzz box
Steve white: bass vocals. useing
eb2 bass
Jeff White: lead vocals accoustic guitar with a US de-almond pick up
Keith Box;Drums useing Hayman kit. ( Keith joined us as a permanent
member around 72.(not on Worthing tapes)
All music played was written and performed by us,and at that time were
supporting major names such as ELO, Groundhogs, Nazareth, Quicksand,
also doing UK dates such Stoneground (Manchester)The Boat Club Hucknall
Notts)Greyhound Fulham Palace Rd,Ealing Town Hall.
To-Date. All band members reside now in Worcestershire,We are currently
writing new material together and looking at live gigs which would
include all of the recorded songs + a lot of material that was never
finished.
Knaphil
school - Once
in Royal Davids
City, Not strictly a transfer
but
a recording I did at Knaphill School to make a CD for them to raise
money for the school. There are few moments in life when a voice like
this stuns you - this lad was 9 or 10 I think.
